New Punches

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches! A few features of the new punch style:

-Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
-Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
-Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
-Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
-New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
-Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
-Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
-Larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
-Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color

Are you EXCITED?? Just wait until you see the full Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Catalog on January 5.

SNOW DAY!!!

Wow! We got LOTS of snow yesterday! Our most accurate measurement was about 22 inches. Seriously! I'm so not a fan of snow but it wasn't too bad yesterday. The kids had such a fun time playing in it. Erich too! I even took a run down the hill on the sled! Then we made chili and had the neighbors over for a fun evening!

The kids were good enough to let me take one quick picture of them all together. After our friends left last night the boys played some video games and I had a chance to scrap with My Digital Studio. This layout is actually altered from one of the Stampin' UP! premade layouts that come with MDS. What do you think??

My baby girl is 9 months old today! I can't believe I have had a DAUGHTER for 9 months! And what a sweetie. She is so fun.
Right now her favorite things are bath time, clapping, crawling really fast, eating her brothers breakfast, and DADDY! This little girl adores her Daddy!
We are really looking forward to her first Christmas. The big brothers have been telling her all about Santa Claus! Should be fun...!
I created this scrapbook page using My Digital Studio. If you don't have this Stampin' UP! software yet, you need it! I love making quick, cute pages for my kids! It's also great for gift making...! After Christmas I'll be posting a gift that I created! Can't ruin the suprise...!
Have a great day!!!

Redskins!

Erich took the boys (all 3!!) to the game yesterday for a little Wiemann Boys Bonding Time! They had so much fun! It was a great day for tailgating (good thing...since they left the house so early!!) and football! Apparently all of the tailgating wore Will out! He napped through the 3rd quarter!

The boys were still super excited about the win this morning so they wore their Redskins jerseys to school and Ben brought his "souvenir cup" (aka. the overpriced soda cup) in for show and tell! Ben also told me that he was going to give his teacher a high five! Hey...we don't get a lot of wins so we are going to milk this one!!

Hope you enjoy the scrapbook page!!

Have a great day!!

Great Grandma and the Boys

The summer of 2008 was a fun one for the boys! My Grandparents from Florida were hosts at a campground in Virginia and we got to visit them a few times. The boys loved riding their bikes around, exploring the woods and especially swinging over the creek on the rope swing!

These pictures really make me smile! Not only because they are fun pictures but because my Mom took them! She is not known for her photography!! Anyways, and I knew that I wanted to do somthing special with them since it was such a special time for JP, Ben, and Great Grandma! I've decided that I am going to print this one out and frame it!

Thats all from me till next week! We have a busy weekend of soccer and chores! Maybe I'll post layouts of us raking the mounds of leaves in our backyard....!

Another Fall Layout

Here is another fall picture of my princess! This page was super easy to make! I love the whimsical look of the leaf stamps! I it is from the Holiday Blitz set. I don't own that set but I often wish I did. But, now that I have MDS I am able to use it digitally. How fun!

As you can tell, I can't stop making pages in MDS! I'm seriously thinking about marketing my MDS skills and offering to make pages/cards for others! Stay tuned...!

Halloween Layout

Hi! I hope everyone had a great Halloween! Ours was super fun! We started our day with 2 soccer games! JP's team spray painted their hair and painted thier faces for the game. They were so cute! Here is a picture of him in the game...

Ben had the later game and he painted his hair too! He was pretty cute as a redhead! He played against his buddy from his class and thought that was really cool! Here is a picture of Ben trying to get the ball from him!

After soccer we rested at home for a bit then got ready for the nights festivities! We had a great time with our friends and neighbors! The kids were adorable in their costumes and now have WAY too much candy. We've been pretty lazy today so I had some time to do a halloween layout. Here is it...
Enjoy!!

Enjoy...!

Soccer In The Mud

As promised, here are the pictures from JP's SUPER MUDDY soccer game! He is on a team with a great group of boys. Most of them are either in his class or in his school and they all get along so well!
I had a lot of fun making these pages and JP even helped me! He is VERY honest with his opinions on my scrapbook pages! We had to make lots of changes so that it was "just right"!
I hope that you have enjoyed these! I can't wait to get them printed out and put in his album! What are your thoughts...should his soccer pictures go in his regular "yearly" album or should I make one of just soccer through the years?
Oh, and just to clarify, JP does NOT have a mohawk! Those are outlawed in my house!

I wanted to share this quick scrapbook page that I made this morning! MDS is so much fun!

Lots of Randomness

Hi friends! I'm stuck in the house today with a few sick kids so I finally have some time to update the blog! Yep, the flu has hit the Wiemann house. Not fun.

I haven't been in the craft room much latley but I have made a few things! I did 2 birthday cards this past weekend but of course I forgot to take pictures of them before I gave them away! I do have a funny story about that though! I guess I take picture of cards A LOT! Will got a card (see below!) from his Godmother, Megan, on his birthday and the first thing he said was "I've got to take a picture"! And he did...he found my camera and took this GREAT photo...
Speaking of Will....he had a great 3rd birthday! Thanks for all of the awesome birthday wishes! We spent the day at the pumpkin patch with Megan, Mark, Dylan, and Claire! It was so much fun that we went back after JP and Ben got home from school! Here is a picture of me and my cuties! Apparently I am the only one looking at the camera...!

I also have to share this picture of JP and his buddy at his soccer game on Saturday! We had a ton of rain and they were just GROSS! But they had a great time! Look for a fun scrapbook page with their teams before and after pictures! Funny stuff!
Ok, enough of my random stuff! Below you will see a card that I made today. I was inspired by a card I saw on Robin Merrimans blog (see sidebar). It features the Medallion background stamp which is one of my favorites! I've seen so many cool cards with it! Jaimie (see sidebar again) made a really pretty fall card with it too! Check it out!

Stamps: Medallion, Defining Alphabet, Define Your Life

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Bermuda Breeze

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Bermuda Breeze, Very Vanilla

Accessories: Textured Plates, Clips Assortment, Chocolate Chip Tafetta Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds, dimensionals

Speaking of blog banners, I made these using My Digital Studio! I'm telling you, this program is so much fun! Bunco Prizes

It's been awhile since I've posted something that wasn't digital! Don't worry though...I've been working on a few fun things with MDS and I'll be showing you those soon! But today I have a "paper" project to share!

My Mom asked me to make gifts for her Bunco ladies! I really enjoyed creating these cards and totes. I used the Hostess Set "Kind and Caring Thoughts" and two of the current In Colors (Dusty Durango and Soft Suede). I was going for a fall look...did it work?
If you would like directions for the tote, let me know! It was super easy!
Well, I need to go clean up my craft stuff and then I think I curl up with the Princess and read a magazine while the boys are entertained by the xbox! It's one of those days...!

Digital Scrapbooking Rocks!

Here is another sample that I made using Stampin' UP! My Digital Studio! I wanted everyone at the bus stop to have the photo from the first day of school so I thought it would be fun to "scrap" it! I didn't have a ton of time so I whipped this up really quick! Seriously, I think it took about 4 minutes. Have I told you that I LOVE Digital Scrapbooking! It totally fits with my hectic schedule!

My Digital Studio is now available for Customer Orders! At only $79.95, it is a great deal! Especially since you can print your projects ANYWHERE! I sent this one to Costco and had it back in an hour for less than 60 cents for a 5x7 print! Love that! If you are interested in learning more about My Digital Studio, give me a call!

I LOVE My Digital Studio

The brand new digital solutions program called My Digital Studio, by Stampin' Up!, was released to demonstrators on Sept. 1st, and will be avaliable to customers on Oct. 1st. I just got mine yesterday and I am HOOKED on this program! I've played around with it a little bit and I am just amazed at all of the awesome features! I wanted to share this QUICK (like 5 minutes) layout that I did with Allie's 6 month picture!
The picture itself is actually a digital picture of the hardcopy from Portrait Innovations so it isn't the greatest but it gives you an idea.....! Isn't it AWESOME! I started with a template provided with the program and then I changed some colors, deleted some of the embellishments and added some others! WAY TOOOOO EASY! and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH FUN! :) Now I can either get this printed through Stampin' UP! or just upload it to Costco and get it done there. How cool is that???
If you are interested in learning more about My Digital Studio, let me know and we can get together!
I've got to run to make my family some dinner and then I am off to Back To School Night! I'll try to add some more MDS (My Digital Studio) project over the weekend!!

Happy 4th of July Weekend!!

I'm so excited to start our 4th of July weekend! We have lots of fun plans with family and friends! Like last year, we started off the fun with PARENT SWIM PRACTICE! JP and I participated in a few fun relays with his friends and their parents. It was lots of fun but I'm TIRED!

I wanted to make a few patriotic cards to have on hand for our festitivities but I still do not have any patriotic sets (see here for last years cards!). But...I thought that these flowers from the NEW hostess set, Kind and Caring Thoughts looked like they could be fireworks! What do you think?

I colored the stamp using my Real Red and Night of Navy markers, stamped them, then went over them with a glue pen and glitter so they have a little shimmer!

Stamps: Kind and Caring Thoughts (new hostess set), A Little Birdie Told Me

Cardstock: Night of Navy, Real Red, Whisper White

Ink (markers!): Real Red, Night of Navy

Accessories: Oval Scallop Punch, Oval Punch, Ribbon, markers, glue pen, glitter

Surf's Up!

I was waiting for Will to wake up so that I could take the kids to the pool/swim practice and got inspired to make a card! How cute is this???

I used Pick a Petal for my "boards"! (JP told me that they look like raindrops!). I also used Pink Flamingo DSP, Whisper White CS, Summer Sun and Tempting Turquoise ink and cardstock. The alphabet is a retired set, Quirky Lower Alpha (I think!!) And of course I used dimensionals (I love these little sticky guys!).
Don't forget that the retired list is out! Things are starting to sell out so if there is something that you want, get it now! I made the mistake of waiting too long to order one of the scrapbook kits and it's gone...!
Well, Will is still sleeping but I better wake him up! If we time it right, we'll get to the pool right after break is over. Yes, we have going to the pool down to an exact science...!
Have a great Monday!!

Top Note Purse Cards

I recently saw this idea and had to try it out myself! I think that they are adorable! What a great use of Stampin' UP! Designer Series Paper. I've got A LOT to use! What do you think...?

On an unrelated note, Allison Marie is 11 weeks old today! WOW! These past 11 weeks have gone by way too fast! She is such a great baby and we are so blessed to have her in our lives! Here is a picture that I took of her this morning! And yes...she is this happy pretty much all the time!
While I was making cards and Allison was sleeping, Ben and Will spent time at the "Wiemann Country Club"! They had a great time splashing each other and washing their dinosaurs in the pool. At one point Ben yelled in the house to ask me where dinosaurs go to the bathroom! Not quite sure where that one came from! Here are pictures of the "little boys"....JP was at school!

Celebrate Your Day

I'm getting cards ready to sell in my new Etsy Shop! I'm hoping to have enough stock in there to launch the shop by the time school is out! I'll be sure to post as soon as it's "open"! I'm going to need your help spreading the word!!!

Here is what I made (very quickly) today in between loads of laundry! It's a great way to use scraps of DSP! And...now is a great time to purchase DSP! For every 3 packages that you buy, you get one for FREE! You can either email me with your order or go to my Stampin' UP! Website and order from there!

Oh...and for those that took part in my DSP share, the paper should arrive on my front porch any minute now and I will get that cut and mailed back out to you ASAP!!

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Here is what I made for JP's teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week! I used the Too Sweet Simply Scrappin' Kit. Purple is her favorite color so it worked out really well! I sure hope she like it! And yes, Annie, I DID find my Big Deal Alphabet!!

Wow Flowers Birthday

I was asked to make a "pink birthday card" for a friend to give to one of her friends. I made 2 for her to choose from and this was the first. I love the Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss together! It is hard to see in this picture but the center circle in the top row is popped up with a dimensional and has a silver brad in the center.

I'll post the other card later this week! I am really enjoying making cards to sell! I'm hoping to start doing a little more of this. I'm putting together a shop on etsy.com! Stay tuned for more information on that as I continue to list items and get that shop going!

On another note, today is my oldest sons' birthday! He turns 7 today. Wow, the past 7 years have gone by SO fast! I had lunch with him today and brought in a yummy snack! He isn't much for sweets so he asked me to bring in Fruit Kabobs! They were a huge hit with all of the kids! I was worried though so in order to be prepared for that one kid that complained about having such a healthy snack, I also baked sugar cookies! (Yes, they were slice and bake and no I did not burn them!) Here's a picture of me and my big boy!
Tonight we'll celebrate with family and our neighbors! E-ma (my Mom) made an ice cream cake! We are ALL looking forward to that!
