Have I told you guys how much I love my "new" house (yes, it is still new...we haven't lived her for a year yet!). I love watching the snow fall in the woods behind the house...and it kind of makes me laugh to see the people walking their dogs in the cold (reason number 5001 why we don't have a dog)! Anyways, I'm sitting here typing while Will is standing at the glass doors leading out to our back patio and he is just cracking up at the snow. He thinks it's great. He probably won't think so in about an hour when when we have to bundle up to go take JP to the bus stop!
In honor of our first snow of the season, I got spunky and made a card...
I used Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White cardstock. The snowflake and circle are from the On Board Ornaments. I covered the circle with TT craft ink then put a few layers of clear embossing powder on top. The snowflake was embossed with white embossing powder and then a few layers of clear. I added the turquoise brad from the Ice Rhinestone Brads and then stamped "Sparkle" with TT. I love the simplicity of it!
I need to get back to working on my Christmas Cards! I've finished most of them...now the task of addressing! I hope to get them mailed out next week so be looking for yours! If you've moved in the last year or so, send me an email with your new address!
I'd love to see what you guys are working on! I am having a contest for the "best" Christmas Card! I will set out all of the handmade cards to be judged by our guests this Christmas. The winner will receive a stamp set out of the NEW catalog! So, don't forget to add me to your holiday card list!
Speaking of the new catalog...have you checked out the Retirement List? I'm offering 20% off all sets on the list until December 8th! After that, they will be 10% off until January 1st. So, check your list and see if there are any that you want before they are gone for good! The new catalog will be available on January 1st. If you would like to reserve a copy, send me an email! I am selling them for $5 (50% off their retail value) from now until Jan. 2nd.
I'll be back later with pictures from the Holiday Giftables Class!
